To work properly, your body, that spectacular feat of engineering, only needs 3 things:
1.) Food 2.) Water 3.) Oxygen
That’s it. Get those three things right, and you’ll have a healthy body.
But to get to the secret of how a healthy body works, you have to reverse the order.
Think about it. How long could you live without food? A few weeks. How long could you live without water? A few days.
How long could you live without oxygen? Minutes. And that is the secret.
Oxygen makes the rest of the equation work. Oxygen is nature’s secret weapon, and your first weapon in the Fat Wars.
Why is oxygen so important? Because oxygen is the key ingredient in fire.
Why is fire so important? Our bodies take in whatever fuel we send them, “burn” what they can, and discard the rest.
Just like a campfire, your inner fire burns oxygen. To crank up the fire, add oxygen. To smother the fire, limit the oxygen.
So imagine that your body has a constant fire burning within. It does. And the rate at which the fire burns determines how fast it burns up the food you send it.
You just need a simple method of getting extra oxygen, and a simple method of getting extra exercise. If you had these two things, and if they really were simple, you could win the Fat Wars.
